GLB to STL converter

GLB is the format AI 3D generators and games hand out. Printers want STL. Set the height in mm, and we stand it upright and convert it.

Getting an AI model ready to print

  • Set the size. GLB uses metres and many generators export models about 1 unit tall, so type the height you want in mm.
  • Check it's solid. AI models often have small holes or loose bits. If your slicer warns you, run the STL through the repair tool.
  • Watch thin parts. Fingers, swords and hair strands that look fine on screen can be thinner than your nozzle. Scale up, or thicken them in Blender.
  • Add supports in your slicer. Generated figures rarely sit flat; arms and chins usually need them.

For a colour print, paint the model in your slicer after converting.

How it works

  1. 1Drop the GLB from Tripo, Meshy or a game.
  2. 2Type the height you want, say 80 mm. Width and depth follow, and it stands upright.
  3. 3Download the STL. If your slicer finds errors, run it through STL repair.

Questions people ask

Checked October 2026

Do my files get uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser. The file never leaves your computer, so it works for client files and unreleased designs too.
Why is my model 1 metre tall?
GLB uses metres, and many AI tools export models about 1 unit tall. Type the height you want (say 80 mm) and everything scales to match.
Will the colours print?
No. STL only keeps the shape. The texture is dropped. For a colour print, paint the model in Bambu Studio or PrusaSlicer after converting.
My slicer says the model has errors.
AI and game models often have holes or loose bits. Run the STL through our repair tool before slicing.
