About STLPal
STLPal is a set of small, free tools for people who 3D print. We kept running into the same chores: a 3MF that needs to be an STL, a GLB from an AI generator that comes out a metre tall, an STL the slicer won't take. So we built one page for each job.
Who makes it
STLPal is an independent project. It isn't tied to any printer brand, slicer or model marketplace, and nobody pays to be mentioned on these pages. When we name Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, Blender or anything else, it's because that's what people actually use.
Questions, bug reports and ideas go to our contact page.
How it works
The tools run in your browser using JavaScript and WebGL (through the open-source three.js library). When you pick a file, your browser reads it and does the work. Nothing is sent to us, so there's no upload wait and no copy of your file anywhere else.
What the tools can't do
- Slice models into G-code. Use your slicer for that.
- Rebuild badly broken scans. The repair tool fixes common problems, not everything.
- Keep colours and textures when saving to STL. STL only stores shape.
- Open CAD formats like STEP, IGES or Fusion files (yet).
Found a bug?
If a file won't open or comes out wrong, tell us which tool and what kind of file it was. You don't need to send the file. The guides cover the most common file problems.
